Scrap Orchard Challenge

Hope life and the summertime is going well for you!
I know life is quickly passing us by here in FL. Mostly, because it is so blasted hot out and we don't get out much!!! Hot like 97* and sunny!
I have blogged all about the goings on on my family blog which you are always welcome to follow the link on the left.

I have been working on my kindergarten blog for when I venture back into the classroom in August. This is taking me a great deal of time, If you know of any great tutorials for building your own blog...I am all ears! Leave me a comment with a link!
*THANKS*

I have entered a contest over at Scrap Orchard! Check out my layout HERE!

There are so many talented ladies over there, I am just enjoying the chance to use some really cute kits!
Well, I need to hurry along. Story time at the library today...inside...in the air!
Have a wonderful day!

Life is busy and I am capturing it!

I am having a wonderful time creating for Amy Sumrall! You can find all of her kits here in The DigiChick store! She has some adorable kits available and definitely worth the look see! I also recommend heading over to the Scrap Addict and picking up her freebie kits there from the So You Think You Can Design contest held for 5 weeks! Oooops, sorry, the links are all gone...how sad is that??? Well, I do not think there is anyone involved in digi scrapping who did not know about that contest! I am sure you were lucky enough to have yours already!
This kit called: RAWR...is definitely appropriately named!

Here is my first layout using this kit!

Journaling:
How cute are these little feet inside these adorable little shoes?
These are your first shoes that are not Stride Rite! And guess what....you love these! They are your favorite pair of shoes. The funniest thing is watching you watch them! The eyes are what makes these shoes and I love watching you bend over and poke them in the eyes. I don't know why, it makes me laugh! I guess I try and imagine what your little mind is thinking about the shoes that have eyes!

I have also been creating with the Oh So Happy Kit:

Here is what I completed using this kit!

Journaling:
It seems like just yesterday i took a picture very similar to this. jacob you were starting 1st grade and Jayda you were starting kindergarten. Look at you two now, end of 6th and 4th grade. You two are still the best of friends today. Except now you both have cooties!

I have been using a few other kits to design with, but these are all just freebie kits I have picked up along the way!

Journaling:
You bend at the waist, hoist up the guitar, and play guitar hero with your brother.

Amy Sumrall kit "My Favorite Things"

Hey all! I hope you are having a wonderful beginning of June and life is not passing you by too quickly...YEAH RIGHT!!! I hear ya! Zoooooooom......... it is speeding by.
Speaking of speed...I love how quick I am able to finish a digi layout and get it posted ASAP! You see, it helps with my feeble brain. The minute I take the pic I scrap it. That is very helpful in this day and age of GO GO GO GO!!!!!
Well without further ado, here is a layout I completed today showing off the new bike I picked up for him at the flea market! When I saw this adorable thingy...I just knew Jay would love it!
This is Amy Sumrall's latest kit from week 5 of the SYTYCD contest! It is titled My Favorite things-1980's. I think she is going to win! You can go here and see all of her kits that are currently freebies!
Journaling:
I found this awesome race care for you at the flea market today. Who knew a little big wheel could be such fun? You sit down on it and try and push it with your feet. You give up and do it Fred Flintstone style. Who knew you could have such fun on a reused toy?! That's it...just doing your part to save the world one plastic toy at a time!

This next layout is of me, when I was young. Again, using the latest kit from Amy Sumrall!

Journaling:
I loved being a big cousin. I loved taking care of babies. Little did I know it was a gift, today being a mother comes naturally.

Here is another layout using the newest kit by Amy Sumrall.
