I am...

I worked on a Layout today for All Moments remembered. It was a challenge to use paint! I love to paint on my pages so this was going to be easy peasy!
I got out my husband's boat noodle extras that he uses to protect us from the propellor while it is in the garage. I rolled it through some black paint and came up with this.

Then I was over at "The Story Matters" and found they were doing a challenge...The topic was a poem titled "I am" and you had to fill in the blanks kind of like a Mad Lib.
Well, looking at the photo I chose for this layout, I knew exactly who's point of view this would be coming from. It is titled: I am ... blankie!
Here is the poem.

I am a blankie!
I wonder what I did to deserve you?
I hear your lonely cries and soothe them.
I see your dreams and fend off the night.
I want to always be here for you.
I am a blankie!

I pretend to be real.
I feel so alive when you cuddle me close.
I touch your soft cheek and make you complete.
I worry one day you may no longer need me.
I cry thinking of the day you outgrow me.
I am a blankie!

I understand I have a job to do.
I say I’ll be there for you through thick and thin.
I dream of you holding me for all of my years.
I try to believe you will always need me.
I hope this is true.
I am a blankie!

Here is the completed layout!
